O.M.G. Restaurant and Lounge

Remind me to blog about this tomorrow. I gotta finish my essay! I will continue this tomorrrrrrrow. just typing something here now to remind myself..and so that it'll be under today... even though today has already so many posts. hehee what a postful day.


oh man it's been a week and a half.. and then i was going through my posts when i saw this ... incomplete blog. ahh sorry, you'll have to deal with my fogged up  memory. but i do remember most of the key points =)

So i got there at 8, when our reservation was at.
I was the first to get there (out of 7?) and then I walked up the steps...and I saw this sign on the door... in chinese....... and i couldn't read it.. so i just went in.. lol and ignored it....
the waitress saw me...
and i told her i had a reservation for 7?
and she was like okay.
i waited at the door awkwardly........... cauz the restaurant is really small.. so basically everyone just looked at me
and then after a while of standing and waiting, i finally got seated (even though the table  had been empty the whole time)
and then i just sat there..... until everyone else came.

when they came, we got our orders taken.....
and then it didnt take too long for our entrees to come

it was really cold inside the restaurant... and they had like five 40 inch tvs..... lol... in such a small place... we joked about how they should have only bought two or something and used the rest of that money to get a heater....

we got oyster (gross) .. so they ate that.. and more oyster.......

then we just sat there and waited.. for the longest time (almost an hour after we ordered our food)....
we got impatient (but it was ridiculously slow), so we asked them about our food...

and apparantly they wanted to wait until we finished all the appetizers (oysters) first.........

but they took an extra 20 mins before the food came... and they missed an order.......and the servings were pretty small

and my food (i got a salmon steak) came ..... with pasta.......and it was plain.. with no sauce or anything..

so we asked them for sauce....for my plain pasta...... lol wtf?

and then they were like oh we're making it now...................

10 mins later........... still making it........

then it came.... and the waitress said that the pasta usually came with some lemon sauce.............. so.... why didn't it? lol......


yeah .. so incase that was really difficult to follow, here's a summary:

cons
- slow service
- missing orders
- missing sauce?
- small servings? (im not much of a big eater, so that should mean something)
- should have english signs? come on, this is canada.
- maybe invest in a heater?

pros:
- food was pretty good
- pretty comfortable......
- alright lighting.
