So last night I slept pretty late. I was working on an english assignment, and then when it was almost time for me to sleep, I realized that I also had to do a chem lab. lol. so I stayed up doing that... I've been working all weekend aside from the cny dinner i had sat night =) . yummmy food.
I didn't even remember this until sometime at school, where i was bored or i was dayddreaming or something idk. but i just remembered part of this dream i had.
I was either in a right angled triangle, or looking at one... and apparantly i had to figure out what angles the other sides were (of course, one being 90). for some odd reason, i couldn't figure it out (there were no hints or lengths of the sides given, etc. (wow im such a nerd). So I did the only thing one would do when you had nothing else - I prayed. or well i sent a message to God... through.. .thinking? hehe... yeah... and I also asked Him to let me know that it was Him - so that I could be sure that He was indeed real. A moment later, I received a text, and this is what it said, " 40° ..... =/ " and, at the top (not part of the message), it said "Fr: God" there was no number.
I think the fact that there was a "=/" face meant that I shouldn't have needed to ask for him to let me know that it really was Him - and that He was real. He was sad that I had such little faith. This reminded me of a few stories from Matthew:
When God says not to worry - matthew 6:25-34
29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?
and then.. when Jesus was on the boat with some fishermen and there was a storm... they got scared and they made Jesus wake up from his nap to save them - matthew 8:23-27
26 He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.
when Jesus told Peter to walk towards him...on water - matthew 14:22-34
Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”
31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”
when Jesus heals a boy posessed by a demon, and his disciples were asking him why they couldn't drive out the demons either... -matthew 17:14-20
20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Isn't it funny how even when I was so busy with school, that God still found a way to speak to me? Reminding me of what's more important, and to have faith in Him, that He will take care of me.
