Today, the rain is my friend. That's just the thought that came to my head as I was walking to work this morning. It was such a beautiful morning despite the fact that it was raining. It was just gently spitting, warm, and comfortingly humid. Then I got to work and reality hit me.
My back was in terrible pain. Maybe it's because I didn't sleep on it completely last night and it messed things up. I don't know. My friend that I met up with for lunch suggested that I do some exercise. I wasn't offended. I really do need to do some exercise, so I went swimming tonight - even though I was dead tired and didn't want to. But it served to be very helpful. My back hurts much less and feels looser. It still hurts, but I hope it'll be gone by morning. Sales people I was emailing weren't sending me the appropriate information, or attaching the files to their emails, people were complaining and there were just many mistakes today. Those things didn't really bother me that much, they were just a bit annoying to have to deal with at that moment. Anyway, I didn't eat much at lunch because I was hungry but I lost my appetite when I started eating because of my back. I don't know how that's related but I'm too afraid to go check it out. I'm just going to keep going swimming and try to strengthen my back and abs.
I really hope it's going to be clear skies on Thursday. My friend that I grew up with is going to take me flying on a plane. It's going to be my first time in a two-seater plane, and my second time ever on any kind of plane. I am excited and really really hope that the weather will be perfect. Weather forecast doesn't say so... but there is still hope.
Oh and yes! Did you notice? After who knows how many years (probably 2) of blogging, I have finally decided to change the design template of my blog. Yes. It is no longer emo-black and scary-orange. It is now some art I did when I was in middle school. It's supposed to be some alien version of people holding hands. I don't know. Maybe I will explain it better one day. All I can say is that I really like this image and it's special to me since I've kept it for so long.
Everyday - Hillsong Song we sang on Sunday. Just felt like singing it as I walked around in today's weather.
Today I read Proverbs 17, here are some verses that stuck out to me:

Today I read Proverbs 17, here are some verses that stuck out to me:
Verse 9, "He who covers over an offense promotes love, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends."
Verse 13, "If a man pays back evil for good, evil will never leave his house."
Verse 14, "Starting a quarrel is like breaching a dam; so drop the matter before a dispute breaks out."
Verse 27, "A man of knowledge uses words with restraint, and a man of understanding is even-tempered."
