i have big craving for popcorn.
i never got popcorn when i went to the movies with my parents. never. it was always either a waste of money, or just not good for you. which is true.
when i go to the movies with friends, we almost always get popcorn. this is not good, but it tastes so good. ahh. everytime i go, i end up eating SO MUCH. also drinking lots of iced tea. and then i go crazy. eating too much popcorn causes me to act in strange ways that can not be described online. to the public. =X
i think this is why i have high cholesterol, other than it being hereditary.
these little "binges" (without the barf) of popcorn probably contributed to high cholesterol.
also, when i was little, my parents used to buy these shrimp rings... and my sister and i would just eat the whole ring, practically all by ourselves. i would eat at least 1/4 to half of the whole ring. lol. no wonder. and i used to love shrimp so much ahh. especially the kind you eat when you go hot pot, or the kinds you get in hongkong macau are SO BIG and DELICIOUS (from what i remember when i went back at age 10). and we used to eat lots of chips too. pringles and lays. oh man i remember those days.
but now, ever since my sister and i and my dad got high cholesterol, or became more aware that these foods were destroying us, we've stopped buying any of that crap. D= poor shrimp..
hmm. and we've changed our milk from 2% to 1% ....and regular to omega 3 eggs.....
eating more oatmeal, antioxident foods like blueberries and stuff, yogurt, fruits, more fish... less mayo and i dont eat butter or margarine. i just have plain bread. i dont like stuff on bread. i know. nutella isnt that great for me. =/ mmm basically we dont buy anything with cholesterol in it. lol unless its inevitable then we get the lowest amount possible of it. =( good bye alfredo sauce! best pasta sauce ever. sigh................
could it be my decline in physical activities?
when i was little i used to swim , play badminton , go skating, and ride my bike almost every week of the season.
then it became - swimming once a month. or even two or three months. skating once or twice a year. no badminton. no bike riding, softball during the year, and summers, physed class
and then - snowboarding around 7 times a year, no more softball, swim team for one year lol, running every morning --> running three times a week --> running once a week ---> running once every two weeks.....skatng once or twice a year......lifting weights.....stretching.......... lol
but with the decline of my physical activities, my diet became healthier, more greens, less fat and salt and cholesterol. =/ time to hike up the physical activities! but slowly............. so my heart doesn't break because of lack of oxygen.
