Closing in the Gap

So as you might be aware, I have been very behind in my studies and have a lot of other things going on this term! This week I have been inputting large amounts of effort into time management and trying to get my studies up to date. I planned out everything I was going to do for each course during some lectures (that were kind of boring) and I have so far been able to keep up with my own schedule that I've made such that by the end of this week, I'd be caught up. I've been going like mad. I didn't have to cut out all my social activities though.

Here's what my week has looked like so far:

- waking up early enough to make it to class before lectures get too intense (5-10 mins into lecture), OR skipping one lecture (because I don't understand the prof anyway) and learning the material on my own from textbook
- taking notes in lectures while working on assignments, as well as strategically napping when the prof isn't talking about anything important and waking up to copy down notes (this only works for some courses)
- short break to eat lunch and talk with friends
- rest of lunch time devoted to completing assignments and applying for jobs
- walking home after classes and group work is done (only source of exercise for now)
- making dinner and eating it while resting and watching a show, or eating with a friend
- then doing readings alone or with a friend
- reading Job and trying to sleep by 1AM

Hopefully by the end of this week, I will be caught up. Then I can take the weekend easy, and read ahead for some harder courses (physics and chem). Then during the week starting next week, I can just focus on doing assignments, labs, and quizzes, while doing readings the night before if I didn't cover them over the weekend. I should have more time at night to work on assignments and really applying concepts. And I should also have some time for meeting up with friends and some exercise.

I think exercise has really just been on the back burner lately. I've just been walking as much as I can, and taking the stairs whenever possible. I hope this is enough to "stay fit". Maybe cut down on snacking too... but snacking seems to make studying a lot easier...

Job 11 today. Job's friend is accusing him of having done something wrong, against God. That is why he thinks God has been "punishing" him. But Job knows that he has done nothing wrong... this friend is not helping the situation..

BTW This should be Tuesday the 22nd's post. don't know why it got moved up here
