sub sub sub!

i like subs. but only the ones that don't have cold-cut meat and like it's all cold and gross. nooo i don't like cold sandwiches/subs. they just make me feel sick after eating it. sigh. i also can not eat viet subs, because they contain raw parsely, which i am "allergic" to. i swear i'm allergic to almost everything, but some foods have a bigger impact on my digestive system. sigh... this is so sad. i'm asian. and you'd think i'd eat rice every day right? but no..  i cant eat white rice anymore. lol plain white rice anyway. with like dishes on the side. i feel sick after, i have learned to anticipate a sickly feeling in my stomach after eating it. oddly enough, i'm fine when eating mixed rice (white rice with some purple rice + other stuff). I can also eat rice if its fried or in congee..... it's mainly just white rice. i can eat it if its in bibimbap though. which is weird because it's white rice. =( hmm. and it doesn't always set off my insides. so who knows what it really is. lalala.

i also like subs for school, most of the time. there are two types of substitutes.

type 1 - they actually care about following the rules, and what not. they make an impression that they have only retired oh so recently, and therefore will enforce the rules. some of them even go as far as trying to get involved with the class and actually teaching the lesson. although they seem to think that this would be great for the students, they are disappointed when they realize that the real teacher has left stupid instructions that give the teacher absolutely nothing to work with. an "inclass assignment" is usually given out for the students to work on during class, and the sub will probably ask them to hand it in at the end of class - as a ploy to get the students to work, and not talk.

type 2 - they don't care about what you do, or where you go. they're just there for the money/because they have nothing better to do at home D= . they're chill and they just wanna work whenever.

did you know--> supply teachers make a lot of money - more money than a regular teacher does per day?

a teacher could just retire after the minimum required years to still get a pension, AND work supply teacher hours for more money? that's like... a super ploy to gain more money. the best thing to do in this case, would be to supply teach for a teacher that is on maternity leave, or really sick.

the only time i would not like to have a substitute is when i have tech. in tech, my teacher is so chill that he is like the type 2 supply teacher. lol he lets you do whatever you want. he's awesome. he's also so cute LOL for an old asian man (probably in his 50s - is that middle aged then?). this teacher came in and gave him a cookie on a stick that she made and decorated. he was so happy. lol. he held onto the cookie like it was a lolipop. he exclaimed about how nice it was and stuff that he couldn't possibly eat it and wreck it. and then he took a big bite out of it. LOL he's so cuteeee (old man cute) dahahahhaa. i couldn't stop laughing at him. teehee. but anyway. back to the substitute thing. so when he's not here, we usually have to behave and like... not do our usual drama-watching, or music blasting stuff.... and we have to do some sort of quiet seat work... or work on our design projects... sigh  i had a supply for tech today =( but he wasn't that bad. he was like a mix of type 1 and 2. lol he emphasized that he used to teach @ my school so blah blah basically laying out the fact that he wants us to not treat him like a supply.......... lol which we didnt because thats the way we always are/were in that class.

i reallly want a supply tmr for english. sigh. there's so much work due tomorrow.... it's insane. this whole week is crazy. ughhhh. for english, our teacher gave us an oral essay to write... and she wants the research, mind map, and rough draft of the essay due tomorrow. lol. and she only approved our topics and stuff last wednesday. so we barely had a week to work on it. i usually empathize with her because she lets us choose due dates and when to have tests.. but not this time.. and this is really tight....... sigh. why so cruel. we're also supposed to present our isu novels - an "informal book talk" this week. i have no idea what we're supposed to do, if we're getting marked on it or whatever. she didnt tell us anything. and i'm always the one bugging her and asking her for more info................. which she is really vague about. we also have a quiz for shakespeare... on like three acts...... i feel so gged right now..............
so i want a sub tomorrow. so that we can delay the quiz, the essay crap, and the book talk.  =( im still writing notes from the books... and i have no idea what the mind map is that she wants us tto do.. mind map of what????????  why are there no instructions or ruberics............... guhasldkasjdklsjd salkdsadm if anything, i hope there are no marks for progress......  D= ... cauz then i could do everything later when it's due.... oh wait that's next week. kill me nowwwwwww.

this weeks tests/assignments:

tmr - eng research/mindmap/rough draft of essay, shakespeare quiz, isu book talk
wed - physics test on electromagnetism/magnetic fields
thurs - calculus test on curve sketching, french listening exam, chem project due (the game)

i'm glad its a short week...... but it's also gonna be crazyyyyyyyy
